My name is Lauren Rutherford. I have been a school teacher for 6 years. I have taught a variety of grades from kindergarten to sixth grade. I have a bachelor's degree in elementary education. During college I worked at a daycare between school and playing college soccer as well as in the summer time. Therefore, I also have experience with newborns to 4 years old. I have two children of my own, ages 3 and 1. My home is made for children. For outdoor play I have a swing set, sprinkler, splash pad, baby pool, multiple strollers for walks, bikes, a kids car, sand table , and a fenced yard. Inside I have a play kitchen, easel, playhouse, ball pit, a small trampoline, and much more. My daughter is 3 and because I am a school teacher I do mini lessons with her throughout the day. We read , sing, and do crafts as well. I have a lot of energy and genuinely enjoy children. I am currently in the process of renewing my CPR certification. I have decided to stay home and offer my services to other families. My rates are between $15-$25 an hour depending on the age.
