I am a certified teacher holding two certificates who has 5 years of teaching experience. As a college student I was the lead teacher in the infant and toddler rooms at Childtime and Phoenix Children Academy. I currently have a 15 month old son and am looking to open our home to three other children so that I can stay home with him. I want to provide a safe, clean home that will be an intimate place of care for no more than 3 children not including mine. As a teacher I will apply my skills to learning activities and fine motor development. As a mom I want to give love and home cooked meals of quality to the children in my home. I fully support breast feeding moms, and am happy to handle, freeze, and store breast milk. I enjoy cooking and making my own baby food, so that is something we could work out if age appropriate. My purpose in starting in home care is not only to be able to stay home with my own son, but is to provide the type of care I would want for my son. I currently am a teacher/administrator at a local school and will be open for taking kids at the end of this school year. May 25.
