Lauren's Institute For Education (L.I.F.E.) believes that providing an environment conducive to learning is important for individuals of all ages. As an individual ages, their ability to successfully interact with their environment depends upon the successes they have experienced up until that time. The Adult Day Program that L.I.F.E. offers continues to build upon an individual's existing skills and provides new opportunities for advanced learning.
The Adult Day Program simulates a variety of environments, inwhich consumers will interact with outside of the program itself. The various components of the Adult Day Program focus on areas such as improving self-help skills, ability to complete domestic chores, opportunities to increase social skills, vocational skill development, and independent living skills. The program allows individuals to practice these skills in an environment which is safe and non-threatening to them. Our goal is to provide an environment of opportunity for our consumers. An environment which will allow consumers to continue developing their skills and promote further independence for them. Everyone deserves an opportunity to better themselves and L.I.F.E.'s Adult Day Program offers the opportunity for just that.
