We have been at Laurel Hall School since 2014 and with the LHS family since 2011. We love our school! Laurel Hall is a small private school with a big, involved parent community. The new principal is fantastic and widely respected by parents, students, and faculty. He jumped right in and began making important and impactful changes immediately. He has given the school renewed purpose and enthusiasm. The teachers are caring and creative, guiding the students thoughtfully through the curriculum. Speaking of curriculum, Laurel Hall has strong academic classes with an emphasis on STEAM, but also includes art, music & PE at all grade levels and beginning in 4th grade expands to include fine arts (band, strings, hand bells, dance, and plays), drum core, and a variety of engaging electives. Our school also participates in athletics, fielding teams in flag football, boys & girls basketball, boys & girls soccer, track & field, volleyball, and baseball. Lastly, we have an amazing PTO and strong parent community. Through our exciting fundraising events last school year, we were able to raise money for the installation of a new sod field and irrigation system, a new running track, repaved basketball courts and adjoining area, and the installation of two filtered water hydration stations, with more on the way. Most importantly, our kids look forward to going to school each day.

We have been at Laurel Hall School since 2015 and couldn't be happier. The teachers are warm and caring. We are thrilled with the new principal, and the changes he's already implemented to the school. Our PTO is amazing and is supported by a strong parent community. Through the funds raised last year we now have a brand new track, sod field, basketball area and two filtered hydration stations. The curriculum also includes performing arts (plays, strings, band and dance) to sports and cheerleading, plus after-school enrichment. My kids LOVE coming to school every day.
