Laura's Little Learners, in Columbia, is looking for children who are of toddler or school age to become part of my in-home family daycare. The program will be open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. (hours can be adjusted if needed) and will serve breakfast, snack, lunch, and an afternoon snack.
I am a certified educator who is switching to the daycare setting. Over the past ten years, I have taught and worked with children of different ages. As a result of my teaching background, my daycare will have the children explore and learn mathematics, science, literacy, health, arts, etc., through a variety of activities, such as cooking, reading books, math games, arts and crafts, nature walks, etc. If your child is of school age, I will provide tutoring and homework help as well as other educational activities to push your child's thinking and enhance their knowledge. School age services will include before and after school care as well as breakfast, if needed, and a snack after school.
My Credentials include:
*AA in Liberal Arts and Sciences
*BA in Liberal Studies
*Masters in Literacy and Reading
*Teaching Credentials in CA, NV, and MD.
*Endorsements to teach Science, Mathematics, and History
*CPR, First Aid, SIDS, and Emergency Preparedness
