I strive to create a successful and refreshing approach to preschool education with the perfect balance of social awareness and academic guidance within a nature rich play space. I blend children's early educational journey with developmentally appropriate curriculum that prepares children for kindergarten while they enjoy hands on, engaging activities in a considerate, nurturing environment. I was awarded the 2016 National Child Care Provider of the Year from the National Association of Family Child Care. I am Nationally Accredited through the same organization and I am currently rated 3 Stars through Colorado Shines. In addition, I am in the process of becoming a certified, natural, outdoor classroom through Nature Explore.
Laura's Learn and Play Nature School has been meeting the preschool and child care needs of children since 1994. My vision is to educate and care for children in the toddler/preschool age groups, encouraging them to grow to achieve the fullest development of their intellectual, creative, and social potential.
