I provide care in my home on first and second shift. I provide meals and snacks. Our days are set up a bit like school, we have art time, reading time, meal time, outside time, music time, project time. We try to do one bigger STEAM project a week.
I have 8 years experience working with special needs individuals, 5 years experience babysitting and 2 years experience in housekeeping and a year experience in elder care.
I have my associates degree in human service management and am working on my B.S. degree in psychology with a focus in therapy. I will be moving on for my Masters in child psychology.
I am experienced in working with a variety of dietary needs, med passing, wheelchair transfering and colostomy bag upkeep.
My 14 year old son is my assistant, he has been helping for 2 years and is also cpr and first aid certified.
