We invite compassionate and caring people to consider becoming a paid shared living provider with Latham Centers by opening their home and heart to a person with special needs.
Shared Living Program gives to people with special needs the opportunity to find comfort and security in a stable family atmosphere. In such living environment, the supported individual is exposed to unique chances to enhance their abilities and thrive in the community.
Shared living providers work cooperatively with Latham Centers and Department of Developmental Services (DDS) in coordination of the individual's care. Latham Centers provides ongoing support to the shared living providers and the individuals. Care providers are compensated with a generous stipend.
Each shared living placement is tailored to the individual needs and interests of the person supported.
