Hello, thank you for taking the time to read my profile.
I am not one to talk about myself, but a little background may be helpful in deciding if I would be a good fit for you.
I attended Texas Christian University where I graduated with a B.A. in Elementary Education. Following college, I moved to Denver where I was a live-in nanny in a home with three young children and dual-working professional parents. I carried on the role of both housekeeper, tutor, and primary caregiver. I was a camp counselor at the YMCA Summer camp, church nursery worker, and currently am a substitute teacher in Asheville City and Buncombe County schools. I am extremely resourceful, reliable, and most of all loving. I can adapt and love children of all ages.
Substitute teaching has allowed me the opportunity to work with all ages and to be quite flexible. I am very active, creative, and extremely loving. I also have some experience in the hospitality business which helps me in a home. I take initiative and have a great attitude. I have substituted in the ECE class with autistic children and have had the opportunity to care for children with a variety of needs/ages in many different settings. I am looking for weekend work and anything that involves evenings, Spring Break, babysitting, planning parties/meals, errands, and families with active/multiple kids.
