Hello all. My name is Landy and I am an experienced nanny. I'm also a mother of two boys, ages 12 and 18. I think that should count as experience too. A few things I bring to the table are that I am CPR Certified, I have no issues with taking care of children who may be ill or have special needs. I'm more than happy to help around the house, including laundry and preparing meals that you can throw in the oven later. I have cared for many children in my 39 years, especially family as I'm the 2nd oldest out of 26 grandchildren. I started my own babysitting business at the age of 12, and back then I charged $1.00 an hour and felt rich by the end of each summer. I took care of 3 different families and one who had a daughter with special needs. As of lately, I watched two children. When I began the job, their daughter was just an infant & still nursing. I was able to get her and her brother into a great routine of both eating and nap times. I kept track of every diaper change, every meal, and all that we did that particular day. I even helped their son learn how to use the big boy potty. It is so hard to try and sell yourself like this, but I come with excellent references. I'd just like to say that I have a passion for children and also the elderly. I have worked in both fields and it is what brings me the most joy and satisfaction because I feel like just maybe I'm making a difference in a child's or even a parent's life. I know that if I could ever get someone to interview me they would probably feel pretty comfortable in allowing me to care for their biggest treasure. I know how hard it is to trust someone, especially in these times, but I assure you I'm your gal. Good luck & thanks.
