Lakewood Trails In-home Child Care

Lakewood Trails stay-at-home mom has an opening for one child, infant-two years old. I was a Nanny through college, and have my license and Masters degree in Social Work. My professional experience includes working as a School Social Worker for 2 years, as well as case managing homeless children and families for 3 years. Since then, I have stayed home with my daughter who is now a year and a half. My Social Work background has equipped me to care for any child's physical, emotional and developmental needs.

My values include learning through play, discovery through arts & crafts, exploration through being outdoors and new experiences through outings to the Arboretum, Children's Aquarium, Play Street Museum and Library to name a few. These values and passions largely stem from my research- and evidence-based studies in Child and Family Services. Our family lives within walking distance to Lakewood Park and White Rock Lake and we take advantage of these unique locations by visiting frequently.

By only allowing a 1:2 adult to child ratio, I am able to provide both children with a fair amount of needed attention and care, while still allowing the children to have social interaction with each other during the week. Our home is full of love, and your child would be treated like one of the family. We are a non-smoking household, all very healthy, current on all vaccinations and I have a clean driving record.
