Lake Terrace Mother's Day Out

Lake Terrace Mother's Day Out program is located in Hendersonville, TN on Lake Terrace Drive. It is an in-home daycare run by Sarah Gariety. She is a credentialed early childhood teacher with a background in teaching infants, toddlers and preschool. She has a bachelors degree in child development and a teaching credential. The program will be offered in her home on 1 beautiful park-like acre with a large fenced backyard and large beautiful classroom. The hours offered- Tuesday's and Thursday's from 9 AM- 3 PM. This is a part-time program for children ages infant-5 years old. There are only 4 spots available. The flat rate cost will be $200/month and we will follow the Sumner County School District calendar for paid holidays.
My philosophy- I believe children have a natural curiosity and a strong desire to learn. As the child's guide and as a close observer, I am able to provide opportunities for learning by encouraging play and providing an inspiring, beautiful, and safe environment. I believe children deserve to be respected as creative and capable individuals and I try to offer materials that are real, natural, and promote open-ended play and inspire creativity. My highest priority is offering a safe, nurturing environment in a home setting with mixed ages that most closely offers a family-like setting. As a mother I realize how difficult it can be to leave your child with someone and that trust and bond is very important. It's critical that that choice is a good fit and that everyone is comfortable!
