Lads N Lassie Home Childcare

Lad's 'n Lassie's Childcare is located within my home, and is a big part of my wonderful family! I'm a wife and Mom to three amazing kids, ages 23 years old (and just graduated from Vanderbilt University), 13 & 8. Keeping my family running well and happy is my utmost concern, and the children within my care literally become a part of my family not only while in my care, but for years after! Our sweet little group is always kept very small, so that each child receives almost one on one attention. Because I have newborns through preschoolers, I have a very flexible schedule with my children depending on their changing day to day needs. That being said, I always make sure and check daily with each parent to insure each child is getting enough nap time and never too much, eating well and accomplishing age appropriate milestones. Our environment is happy and nurturing, and often my days are filled with sitting in the floor or on a blanket outdoors with my two daughters for hours playing with the kids and having great times. Books, puzzles and reading are a huge part of being at my home, and we also love to sing and build with blocks - it's always fun to see the children's enthusiasm. I specialize in newborn care, and have lots of experience with helping moms to sustain and successfully breastfeed when they return to work. I absolutely love seeing Moms make it to one year and beyond breastfeeding! Many children over my twenty year history have gone from newborn infants thru preschool age, finally making the transition to becoming a valued Lad's 'n Lassie's Alum! I'm located only one mile from downtown Franklin, Tennessee in a beautiful and well kept neighborhood right off of Hwy 96 west. I am only minutes from Cool Springs and every neighborhood in Franklin. The childcare I provide is upscale and literally like having your own private nanny, but at much better prices! I have excellent references and have recently undergone a background check. Best of all, after more than thirty years of ongoing care of children, in my own business, as a teacher for La Petite Academy, and as a private Nanny-I still absolutely love what I do.
