About

La Escuelita was the first dual language (Spanish-English) preschool in Manhattan. We are NAEYC-accredited and employ an emergent curriculum. Teachers follow children's interest to develop thematic learning units that incorporate all domains. Children spend at least 90% of the day in Spanish and all home language backgrounds are welcome; you do not need to already speak Spanish to attend La Escuelita. Our teachers are all highly qualified, bilingual and either native or heritage speakers of Spanish. Half Day, Full Day and Extended Day programming is available.
