About
La Casita Day Care Learning Center services children between the ages of 2 1/2 and 6 years old. The director, Mary Araujo-Pedroza, has spent 20 years in the public schools teaching in the early childhood as a reading specialist. She is a trained Reading Recovery teacher and has a Masters in Special Education. The children at La Casita will follow a daily schedule just as any other established school. Offerings include play time, circle time, reading time, math time, art time, Spanish, and music time. La Casita follows a curriculum that will prepare your child with the skills necessary to pass the Kindergarten entrance exam.
Weekly plans will be provided along with daily written reports of the skills that were completed throughout the day. Healthy meals and snacks will be provided.
Before school drop off begins at 6:30 a.m. and pick up is 6 p.m. Monday - Friday.
10% discount for enrolling a second child.
Licensing is currently pending. I will provide references.
