Coming from a family with a strong background in teaching I knew early in my life I wanted to work with young children. I attended Eastern Kentucky University where I earned my degree in Early Childhood Education/Special Education. While attending college I nannied for a sweet girl that is medically fragile and has intense special needs. Upon graduation I have worked the past 2 years for the local Public Schools as a head Preschool Teacher working with children ages 3 and 4 from diverse backgrounds and special needs. I am a mother of a beautiful 8-month-old girl and recently relocated to the Huber Heights area for my husband's job and I am wanting to continue to work with children in my home by helping them grow in areas of social, emotional, physical, language, cognitive development and pre-academic skills.
