Welcome to Kuddle Bugz, where children are loved, respected and nurtured.

Kuddle Bugz is an exclusive home-based childcare in St. John, Indiana, where children enjoy each day in a loving and structured environment that specializes in infant and toddler care through age five.

Kuddle Bugz Kids and parents are met each day by a recognizable, smiling face and welcomed into our daycare. Children are encouraged to be creative, to learn, to grow and to express themselves.

At Kuddle Bugz we believe that:

We have a wonderful opportunity to help mold young lives and minds of the children we work with. We have an opportunity and obligation to instill a thirst for knowledge and a desire to learn. We also have an opportunity to help children love, appreciate, and respect themselves, the world around them, and others.

We believe it is our obligation to help children understand the importance of good manners, how to show respect to others, how to share and have fun, how to appreciate music, nature and art, and how to appreciate the simple things.

We believe children should be provided with ample opportunities to be creative without judgment and take pride in their creativity.

We believe children need to be comfortable with cultural differences and understand that while people may be different, in many ways we are the same.

We also believe that taking care of and teaching a child is not the right job for everyone. It requires patience when you think your patience has been depleted, perseverance when your energy is drained, understanding and empathy at all times, and the ability to accept the differences in peers, children and cultures. It requires the ability to demonstrate love towards all children and to embrace the reality that everything you do and say in a child's presence may affect their lives and their delicate self esteem.

Our daily curriculum is packed with new and exciting things to learn and opportunities to develop and strengthen motor skills and social skills. Kuddle Bugz Kids always have ample time each day for that very critical part of their development which is "time to play."
