Kmc Academy

KMC Academy is a preschool located in Westbury, Long Island offering both general education and special needs daycare services. My name is Mrs. Hall and I am an educator with the heart, the experience, the education and the skill to nurture and educate children through multiple intelligence learning.
I hold a Master of Science degree in Education and I am working on a 2nd Masters in Special Education at LIU Post. I have several hundred hours of observation and teaching experience with general education students and with students who have emotional disability, learning disability, autism, Asperger's, ADD, ADHD and early learners (preschool children).
As director of KMC Academy, I and my staff teach using the philosophy that students with special needs are precious learners who, like most children, learn by multiple intelligences--we discover which one suits your child best!
Some children are auditory learners, some are visual, others are tactile learners. Some children learn through interpersonal communication while others learn via intra-personal communication. Others are musical learners, and some children even combine intelligences to internalize and process information.
Our doors are open at KMC Academy. We provide a small, comfortable and nurturing learning environment for general education students and for students with special needs.
