Hi my name is Kristie. I am a Pediatric nurse and have recently decided to start watching children from my home. I have been taking care of kids ever since I was old enough. ;)
A little about me, I am 37 with two kids who are 7 & 9. We enjoy being outside as much as possible. We live a block from the park/pool and 2 blocks from the library. We like to go camping, fishing, hiking, the pool, crafts, slumber parties, church and spending time with family and friends.
I have the entire bottom half of the house dedicated to kids. We have a huge play room, a room for the TV/Wii. A partial kitchen and of course you have to have a potty.
It's not always fun and games though. I am very involved with the kids education and sports activities. We study every night for their their tests on Fridays, get our homework done every night and read before bedtime. They are both A students and have never been in trouble at school. And they love kids as much as I do. I am big on healthy foods but of course they get to have their treats. ;)
I have experience with babysitting medically fragile children as well as those without disabilities. For example if your child is on an apnea monitor, oxygen, has a feeding tube or trach, I am your girl.
I can honestly say that I know how it feels to trust someone with your most precious blessings. You are always welcome in my home anytime, not just pick up/drop off times. You are welcome to call a million times a day to check on your kid(s), Lord knows I did! ;)
