Kiran's Montessori Preschool in Pleasanton has openings for your precious ones! If you are looking for a Safe, Clean, and Loving environment for your children (2.5 - 6 yrs), look no further! Montessori is a holistic approach to bringing up well rounded and confident children, it embraces the whole child, their inner being. The children are driven by their own desire to learn and I make sure that the environment is prepared to satisfy that need in the child. Each child upon assessment will be introduced to various Montessori materials that will enhance their learning. Major components in Montessori education are Grace and Courtesy, Self care, Care of the Environment , and being compassionate . This is achieved by exercises done during the course of the day. Some areas in the Montessori environment are Math, Language Arts, Sensory (where the child experiences materials using all their five senses), Practical Life( exercises that involve pouring dry and wet material, flower arrangements, dusting, cleaning..and much more) , Cultural topics- that include Zoology, Botany, History, and Geography.
