A Little about KidsVille Childcare:
KidsVille is all about Imagination, Creativity, and Individuality. I believe children learn best through play and I encourage child initiated play while still providing daily routine and structure.
My daily curriculum provides activities based around each individual child's needs. A wide range of activities is provided that promote cognitive, social/emotional, and physical development as well as individuality. I strive to accommodate each individual child and their family's development, routines, and beliefs.
Three healthy meals and two healthy snacks are included during normal business hours. However, you are responsible for providing formula as well as any "specialty" foods you wish your child eat. You are also responsible for providing diapers (both cloth and disposable are accepted), wipes, and any other diapering/potty training items. Hourly, daily, and weekly rates available for part time, full time ($100.00/wk), and drop-in care. First shift, second shift, and some weekend abailability!
*Note: KidsVille DayCare is a pet friendly environment and is home to 2 cats.
A Little About Me:
I have worked in the childcare field for over 18 years. I am experienced with children aged newborn - 12 years and I have experience caring for children with developmental delays/disabilities (both cognitive and physical).
Some certifications I have obtained over the years include: Family Daycare Certification, Family Daycare Licensing, Introduction into Childcare as a Profession, Skills and Strategies for the Childcare Teacher, Curriculum Planning, Infants and Toddlers in Childcare. I also have training in CPR, First Aid, Communication Strategies, Health and Safety, SIDS, SBS, Sun Safety, and Sanitation as well as many others.
