Kids Alley Childcare/Academy was started by a family for families. We pour our hearts into improving the quality of child care. Their children become our children, and it guides the way we teach. Our staff stays with them from the time they start as infants until they're ready to move on to kindergarten. The foundation for programming at Kids Alley Childcare/Academy is centered-around providing children with opportunities to be engaged, challenged, supported, and encouraged to discover the world around them while recognizing the unique qualities of each child. Here at Kids Alley Childcare/Academy it may look like free play, but it's really all about teaching. Children learn best by doing, and what they do best is play. Our families (parents as well as the children s other relatives) are encouraged to be actively engaged in their children s learning through participation in activities/field trips, and parent projects. These aspects of the program help keep families informed of their children s school experiences and encourage their children s learning. Kids Alley Childcare/Academy is a play based, family-centered childcare program that celebrates everyday learning through emergent curriculum themes that are in safe and nurturing environments. The family-centered approach is a theme through all programs at Kids Alley Childcare/Academy. At Kids Alley Childcare/Academy, we also believe that families and the community are integral to providing children with a well-rounded and enriching experience.
