Kido River Place Preschool And Day Care

River Place is our largest school yet, featuring 15,000 sq. ft. of space for kids to explore. The center can be found in a scenic neighborhood, framed by steep hills and Lake Austin, with River Place Elementary School just a five-minute walk away.

We believe stunning learning environments create the right impetus for children to interact, play and learn. The result is a place where children, teachers and parents work together to build a community of inquiry between adults and children.

The school has twelve large rooms, two indoor play areas measuring 700 and 1400 sq. ft., a Community Library, and a room designated for nursing mothers. In addition to this, there are separate outdoor play areas dedicated to each age group. Great care has been taken in resourcing all areas; every aspect of our school is tied to developmental activities that are part of our programs.

The babies’ room is tailored specifically for them and is dedicated to just 10 children under the age of 15 months. It features comfortable baby furniture, fun toys and resources for sensory, physical and cognitive development.

The Preschoolers have a much larger space, where they can run around and enjoy the multitude of activities available to them.

By blending the teachings of Reggio Emilia and Montessori, we have created an environment that sparks inquisitiveness throughout all stages of learning and development.
