My name is Elise. I am a loving mother to two girls. I have my degree in Early Education and have worked with children for 10 years. Most recently I ran an in home daycare with a total of 6 children. Before running my home daycare, I was a nanny for a wonderful family for 2 1/2 years.
I believe that children need structure in their learning and play so I plan the weeks events and learning in advance. I understand that with children things will come up and schedules may change, so I leave room for such occurrences. While working as a nanny, I would plan activities, learning curriculum and meals. I also gave the family a daily sheet that would detail what the child ate and how much, when they slept, what we did that day (play and learning), and an exciting tidbit. The daily sheets were very similar to what a traditional daycare center would give to parents.
As I have stated above, I do have my degree in Early Education and will provide preschool at no additional cost. I also have my CPR and First Aid Certificates.
