My name is Kelsey. I have an 18-month-old son who I want to spend more time with. I had him in a home day care and was extremely unimpressed to say the least; too many dirty diapers and not enough attention. This led me to decide to quit my job and start a day care. I have been babysitting since I was 12 and my mom ran a home day care for most of my life. I worked at Saville Elementary School for two years with grades K-4. I do not have a degree, but am currently working on getting certified as a Type B Home, even though it is not required. I love children and believe the most important thing you can give a child is your attention. I encourage reading as much as possible and allowing children to express their creativity.
