Upon the birth of my second child, I withdrew from my career as an educator and opened my home to caring for two toddlers during my maternity leave. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to leave teaching in public schools entirely, and have dedicated my days to nurturing the children in our home daycare. I follow a preschool based curriculum with theme units, and adjust daily lessons to the needs of the children in my care according to their developmental expectations and learning styles.
I offer healthy lunches and snacks, and take short field trips around town as logistics allow.
I also offer after-school care until 5:30 p.m., and can individually tutor after 5:30 p.m. I have experience tutoring high school math, science, and English, and experience tutoring elementary-level reading.
I am SIDS and CPR certified.
I have fallen in love with operating a home daycare and I'm sure you will find your child loves being here just as much!
