Hi! I'm Tanya, and I would love to take care of your child/children in my home in Waxhaw, NC. I have been a nurse for 16 yrs, & while I love what I do, I really want to find a way to be home with my 1 & 3 yr old little girls! Childcare was the first job I ever had; I truly lived and breathed babies and babysitting from the age of 10 on... I started watching four children under the age of 8 when I was only 10 yrs old (and they are still like brothers and sisters to me!)I babysat all through high school, and then was a nanny for twin girls my junior and senior years of college. (I am still also very close with this family.) I was a mother-baby nurse for 10 years; I have done every kind of newborn care you can imagine, for both sick and well babies. I am extremely comfortable with all ages of children, & I am passionate about being a positive influence in children's lives. I love enriching children through exposure to books, plays, music (both live and recorded), and outdoor play. I don't let my girls watch tv (except for an occasional movie), and I believe in feeding them healthy, real food! If this sounds like a perfect environment for your little one, please let me know!
