Close-to-home Childcare

My name is Kathy and I can provide all-day home preschool, after school and/or date night care in my home for parents in the area.

Located in the Goffstown near 114 and Mast Rd, a quick and easy pick up or drop off can help make your drive home from work or your outing less stressful for both you and the kids. I am homeschooling my 4 year old girl and 2 year old girl, and can do preschool activities with your child as well. I can meet your kids at the bus stop at the end of my road, and plan a snack, activities, and homework help after school. Or you can drop your kids off for a designated pizza-and-a-movie night at my house for just $25.

I have childcare experience with all ages, from babysitting newborns and grade schoolers to planning fun night for middle schoolers to teaching high schoolers:
- One summer at a daycare for infants through grade school
- One summer as a camp counselor for third-graders
- Four years as a middle school youth group leader
- Three years babysitting two children from ages newborn through five years old
- One semester as a mentor for middle school children
- One semester as a teaching assistant in a high school
- Two years in the teacher education program at Michigan State University

Here is my childcare philosophy:
- Build mutual respect and let the children know they are cared for.
- Prepare activities to enable learning and fun while also allowing for free time.
- Foster independence while letting kids know you can help and support.
- Encourage healthy eating and exercise.
- Facilitate solid communication with the parents and clear expectations.
