Philosophy
Kay's Learning Childcare is a fun-based learning environment that encourages independence through curriculum. It provides quality care in a safe and warm setting where I value anti-bias and diversity to cognitively foster children's awareness of the world they live in and to celebrate their culture. The atmosphere is made to be relaxing and casual for the children to comfortably play and learn in a light and neutral interior.

With the Development Appropriate Practice (DAP) foundation, I strive for the children to learn socially, emotionally, cognitively and physically through play and exploring. Partnering with parents promotes great growth in the child's development and is encouraged to be practiced every single day. Every child is treated respectfully as a unique individual and is expected to learn at their own pace. The activities are to be carefully planned to meet their standards and enhance their skills, at the same time building their self-esteem. Discovering and learning new things every day creates unforgettable memories that possibly improves their behavior during their childhood to provide positive outcomes in their future.

Having the children feel safe and secure is my main goal in the daycare. I look forward on building trust and respect with each one of them. Providing tender, loving care creates great relationships between each other and brings harmony in this setting. Following the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food Program, I provide healthy and nutritious food to build their energy inside. A clean environment will also bring good health to your child as well. Good health, development, and education can bring a good future for your child.

Background about me
I received my Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education since May 2015 from Fox Valley Technical College. I have experienced student teaching throughout my years in college and became a Lead Teacher in daycares after I have graduated. I have had the passion for teaching young children for a very long time as I came from a family of 8, which gives me 5 siblings younger than me, who I have taught some skills. I wanted to pass my teachings to other children and express my passion with them. My goal for them is to make a difference in their life, positively.
