Katydid's Childcare

Katydid's Child Care is a small in-home license exempt child care. Katydid's Child Care is ran sort of like a center but just smaller ratio, we follow a daily schedule but have room for flexibility. With the small ratio I believe it gives the children the opportunity to have one on one time but also socialize with children in or around their age group. We do circle time every day which includes calendar learning, singing songs and the weather. We also do daily arts and crafts activities. During the school months (August-May) a preschool lesson is taught daily as well. We also have outdoor time in my fenced in backyard when the weather permits us to. There are also days that we take walks in the neighborhood. Nutritious meals are also served to the children.
