Hello! My name is Kate and I have always loved working with children. To start off I will let you know I have a 5 year old son that I am wanting to be with me. He is my only child and is very social. He loves interacting with others! He has also given me a whole new experience in taking care of children. My childcare experience is in children from newborn to 12 years of age. I have babysat as far back as I can remember. One summer I decided to volunteer at a camp for children who have disabilities. The kids enjoyed me so much the camp hired me. That's where I met the first family I was a Nanny for. This family had 5 kids and a set of multiples, a child with Down syndrome and the oldest with ADHA. I enjoyed my time with them so much I knew this was my calling. I have continued to nanny and sit for other families and friends ever since. While doing that I have also gone to college. Now I am continuing my education and love for children online from home. During the time frame I was not a nanny I worked retail and bank jobs. My son and I love to be outdoors and try to keep a daily schedule. We have reading/educational time, play time, nap time, etc. I try to turn everything into a learning experience fit for the child's age. If I am offered the position to help with your family, I would love to become more than just a nanny. I would like our families to become friends, but more importantly, our children to become friends.
