Hello! My name is Katherine. I am 31 years old and a mother of three. I have a 12-year-old daughter, a 7-year-old daughter, and a 4-year-old son. I started working in childcare when I was 15 years old through a work study program in high school. I workedat a daycare center for 4 years until I accepted a job as an accountant. I have missed and regretted the chance to work with children ever since. I now am blessed to have the opportunity to get back to doing what I love, taking care of and teaching children! I have prepared my home to accept children of all ages and teach them in my home. I believe in following a routine with children and educating them through play. I have weekly lesson plans and daily food, bathroom, and behavior reports tailored to the age of your child. I provide lunch, plus a morning and afternoon snack daily. I am a strong advocate for feeding children natural and organic foods. A weekly menu is provided for you as well. One of my favorite activities is arts and crafts which I include in daily activities.<br/>I very strongly believe in an open door policy! My door is always open to parents during childcare hours.
