Open 8am-4:15pm, Katelyn's Early Childhood Care offers the benefit of nanny-share style intimate care at the price point and in the setting of an in home daycare!
To a young child, every interaction they make, whether with person or material, is a new learning experience! I believe in spending most of the day down at the child's level and interacting with them as they explore, play and learn. I offer a mix of structure and unstructured play time, art activities, sensory play, daily outdoors time, bilingual (English/Spanish) exposure, music and movement and more.
I use a Christian curriculum along with a state created developmental checklist to create meaningful and engaging lesson plans that meet the individual needs of each child. I am licensed by the state of Maryland and follow all licensing regulations.
I am passionate about early childhood development and look forward to speaking more with you about my program!
Currently I am interviewing for drop in families.
I am also interviewing for a part time spot starting in the fall for a 1+ year old.
