KWE is a place for Parents, Carers, and Professionals of children aged 4 to 14, who are looking for guidance, assistance, and a pathway to improve their children's educational outcomes, mental health, confidence, and social skills.

Kate can assess and evaluate your child's education needs and abilities and put together a program to improve their educational outcomes. She focuses on literacy (reading, spelling, writing) and numeracy (maths) for children aged 5 to 14, as well as the emotional supports required to help your child believe they are a capable student. Kate is also working with students to assist them in their school work whether they are at school, learning remotely during COVID, or homeschooled.

Kate is an expert in literacy has worked with at-risk students in schools and privately, individually, and in small groups, to improve their confidence and literacy skills.

Kate delivers individual mental health sessions with children aged 6 to 14 focusing on improving self-esteem, social skills, and general participation in the world around them. She helps work through anxiety and fears, equipping children and their support networks with usable world skills, respecting their individual personalities and needs. Children (and parents) gain skills to manage worries and boost self-worth, exercises to help calm and improve mood, and together work through ways to change self-image.

Kate offers a complete service from tuition and homework assistance, for school-aged students learning at school, at home, and those working on schoolwork from home, through to mental health sessions and parenting sessions.

All sessions are carried out from her learning base in Hampton Heights, where all resources can be provided, and all distractions and bad habits are eliminated.

Kate is a teacher and school leader and Master's Degree qualified.
