I am a Domestic Services Provider. I accept Long Term Positions only.
Here is an example of my current day. I drive to the residents and get the kids up and ready for school. One child stays with me all day because she is only 3 and two other children go to the same school. I fix a hot meal while the parents are leaving. Bacon, eggs, toast is the favorite. Pack lunches on days they do not want to go to school. Meanwhile I have started the laundry process. This family goes through lots of laundry. I also have fed the pets. We take the dog, in her car or stroller and walk the boys to the bus. Once they are gone, we walk around the block until she wants to go home.
We work on Art and Craft projects, and preschool. She loves to paint. We then read books until she gets her snack. She is in the stage where she loves to play and talk to herself but she loves me to be with her in the room. I take a few minutes to go grab some laundry to fold, and wash the dishes, wipe up the breakfast. etc.
We go out to the swing set or to play with the basketballs. We stay outside until lunch. Nap time is when my housekeeping skills are demonstrated. I can clean the entire home in 1.5 to 2 hours. I tidy up, put clothes away, sweep, put dishes away in dishwasher, take out the trash and the recycling. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays I cook meals for the family so mom does not have to when she comes home. Grilled chicken, baked potatoes casserole, and cheesy broccoli, is a favorite of the boys. They offers to pay me extra for the cooking but I enjoy it. I make enough to take home for my family.
When nap time is over, we pretend play, or we work on colors, shapes, puzzles, and counting. We are spending about 2 hours out of the day total on education prep.
Every Tuesday is bathroom 1. cleaning day and so I squeeze the bathroom cleaning in the day as well. Thursday I clean bathrooms 2 and 3.
The family has pets and so cleaning and mopping is every other day.
We make our way to meet the boys. We walk home and the boys sit down and work on their homework. We take turns working on our spelling, etc.
