Family childcare is a home away from home. It is a warm, caring, safe environment for your child. It is supportive and responsive to the cognitive, emotional, and developmental needs of children. It is a smoke free environment. During the day, the children are involved in a routine that includes meals, activities, indoor, outdoor play, caregiver directed, free play that is child directed. My childcare follows Funnydaffer curriculum. I have a classroom complete with materials and equipment for children to engage through exploration. I offer healthy meals and snacks which include breakfast, snack, lunch, and dinner. I have a large screened patio and outdoor play area. Children are engaged with reading, puzzles, art projects, science exploration and discovery, cooking, math, diversity, culture, group activities, individual playtime, music, social emotional, and character education. Mixed age groups teach children to take care of each other developing empathy and successful social interactions. My program is a natural learning platform through play experiences. Each child has the opportunity to explore materials and toys which help them develop a positive image with confidence in their abilities. I encourage family involvement in my program which enhances your child's growth and development. It is an important partnership with families to promote communication and stability for your child. We enjoy holiday gatherings for lunch with your child throughout the year. It is a way to meet other families and share ideas and experiences. I believe it takes a village to raise a child. I am here to support and supplement the love and care you give your child at home.
