I'm currently a professional engineer. Given my career, it may seem silly that I would be interested in caring for children. Even with my career, I found that I often had too much time on my hands on weekday evenings and weekends, and I wanted to put my energy during my free time back to good use!

I've been babysitting kids for nearly a decade, from newborns to preteens. I have experience with most personality types and children, including those with mental and physical disabilities. I love children, creating activities and games, reading, and tutoring in subjects, such as Math and English. My longest period in which I babysat for a client lasted a little over four years. In recent months, I have babysat in areas, such as Deerfield, Libertyville, Highland Park, Evanston and Chicago, from an 8 month old to a 9-year-old. With the career I have, you will probably find that I will be very affordable. I'm looking to utilize my energy in a good way, and since babysitting is not my main source of income, I can be very reasonable. Children effortlessly put a smile on my face, which is why I've always enjoyed caring for them. You will also find that I have no baggage to bring with me. I'm female, a college grad, single, a non-smoker, an excellent cook, I enjoy cleaning (strange, I know), I don't use foul language, I've completed child CPR training courses, I have a safe and reliable vehicle (Ford Escape 2011 with a baby/toddler car seat), I'm full of energy, and I have years of experience. I would be happy to come to your home and help out, however, if you prefer for your children to stay at my home, I live in one of the safest communities in Lake County (Heather Ridge, Gurnee), I have several toys (for ages 2-5) and several games (for all ages) to keep your little ones busy.
