K9 Expeditions is a canine hiking business located in Southeastern Connecticut. We are dedicated to creating stable temperaments through leadership, socialization, and exercise. By replicating a dog's natural behavior and instincts to be part of a stable pack we create balanced happy dogs.

My name is Lindsey Kernozek I am the owner-operator of K9 Expeditions and Renegade Coonhounds. I have a lifelong passion for animals and have been involved in the dog fancy for 8 years. Opening my own show and breeding kennel in 2009 under the name Salis Shepherd breeding German Shepherds and Australian Shepherds. The kennel has evolved to breeding and showing Bluetick Coonhounds under the name of Renegade Coonhounds. As of 2016 Renegade is the home of the number 4 & 5 Bluetick Coonhound in the country. I have held jobs in a dog daycare and training facility as well as an assistant at a professional groomer. In April of 2016, I made a big step and purchased Above and Beyond Pet Service from Lauren Scott and renamed it K9 Expeditions.

I am available any day for pet sitting. I run pack hikes Monday - Friday pick up and drop offs are included in pack hikes. We pick-up and drop-off from the owner's home. The majority of owners give us a key for use when they are not home. Pick ups start at 8:30am and concluded at 10:30am. Drop offs start at 12pm and conclude at 2pm. Our canine hikes usually last for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Total time away from home depending on location is 2 - 5 hours.
