About
Ever since my own childhood, I have had a passion to work with children. I pursued a career in Elementary Education and have been a babysitter, camp counselor and coordinator, swim instructor, youth group leader, nanny, and was a certified teacher before deciding to stay home with my children. I taught kindergarten and when I got married and had children, I found a nanny job with a great family. I have now nannied for over 7 years and have had some amazing experiences working with families in their homes and in mine. I am currently looking to work in my home watching one or two children in order to provide the children in my care with activities out of the house on a weekly basis (library, zoo, play dates, etc). I provide meals, have space for nap-time or quiet time, a fenced in backyard, and a playground that is within walking distance. And coming from an education background I like to incorporate reading, arts, exploration, and other learning activities in our daily schedule. I am flexible with hours and have several references.
