Just Like Home Babysitting

My name is Catherine Hermes. I'm a stay at home Mom and I've been babysitting for over 10 years now! I have two beautiful girls (Bailey, 12 and Elizabeth, 4), a wonderful husband, and a small and very friendly dog. We just recently moved here from the Bay Area and we love it so far! I have a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, and prior to having children, I worked in the biotech field manufacturing cancer medications. Once my eldest was born, I decided to end my career in the biotech and start my career babysitting. I can honestly say that my heart continues to grow for each child that I care for. They truly become part of our family.

I will provide your child a safe and loving environment where they will feel comfortable enough to be themselves and thrive just as they do at home! I have chosen to care for only a small number of families at a time. I feel that children benefit from a more focused caregiver who can provide them with the one on one attention they deserve. Providing care for your child in my own home allows them to enter into an environment that is warm and welcoming, and at the same time, allows Mom and Dad some work time/personal time/free time. I offer a healthy homemade breakfast and lunch each day along with a mid morning and mid afternoon snack. I have a strong passion for kids! I love to watch them grow and am always amazed at how much they can learn! I find creative ways to teach them the preschool basics without being structured and boring.
