Julie's Little Learners

Welcome to Julie's Little Learners, a place where children learn through songs and manipulatives, smiles and giggles are a normal part of the day and safety is number one! My name is Julie Fagnani, I have been a nanny for about 15 years for a variety of ages and have been a teacher for 3 years. I have taught pre-school, and elementary school and run several summer camps as well as after school programs. I have earned a masters in Education as well as a teaching credential. My undergraduate degree is in Recreation, kinesiology and Early Childhood Education. My education and work experience allows me to create a fun curriculum for children of all ages. I have created a literacy curriculum that is proven to get students ready fro pre-school and above and a series of active games that keep children moving, happy and stimulated. A day with Julie includes circle time including but not limited to one-vowel and two vowel songs, letters recognition, math chants and number recognition and interactive story time. Exploration time is next where children will participate in age and level appropriate activities using manipulatives and various curriculum based materials to enhance learning and motor skills. Physical activity is important and with dance for kids and hoola hoop fun movement will be a regular part of our day. Snacks and lunch will be provided as well as a time to rest and re-charge for the rest of our busy day full of learning and fun.
