Joyful Hearts is a caring, home environment for your young child. Children are encouraged to explore and be creative. We provide a mix of Montessori, Waldorf, and Reggio Emilia education philosophies with a little bit of traditional schooling as well.
Our home is located in the Columbus, New Jersey neighborhood of Country Walk just behind the Homestead Plaza off Rte 656. It is very conveniently located just off of Interstate 295. We provide a preschool environment for children ages 2-5 years old. Five children may attend the center at a time in additional to my two children who also attend. Students may participate two, three, or four days per week. Additional weekday and weekend hours are available upon request.
I am a former teacher turned stay at home mom. I carry a bachelor s degree in Early Childhood and a master s degree in Elementary Education. I ve taught in several preschools as well as 3rd and 5th grade. I believe children learn best when they have opportunities to grow and explore together through play and discovery experiences.
