My name is Shannen; I am a mother of 2.
I run a licensed family childcare center from my home in Waldorf. I am of Franco-Belgian descent, and I love speaking my native language, French, with all the children that I care for, and there is no better time for a child to be exposed to a new language than during their formative years.
We learn exercising, gymnastic, dance, fitness, soccer and more...
Every day we enjoy songs, dance, arts and crafts highlighting our theme of the week.
At Joy Daycare, your child will benefit from a safe, clean, fun-loving and learning environment with a curriculum that will stimulate and encourage their developmental growth. Your child will be given the support they need to grow socially, physically and emotionally in a safe and secure environment.
I am licensed by the State of MD, I have passed background and fingerprinting as well as home inspection. I have the following certifications: First Aid/CPR, SIDs, Developmental Screening, Medication Administration, Child Development, Infant Breastfeeding and Americans with Disabilities Act.
