Journey 5:11 Academy

Journey 511 began as an in-home preschool in 2019. The owner, Vania L, started Journey 511 after many years of working with children as a caregiver, educator, and Montessori preschool/elementary school director. It was through these experiences that Vania developed a desire to offer quality, affordable care and a unique approach to early learning.

The name, Journey 511, was inspired by a story in the book of Exodus. It is a story of challenges, hardships, valuable lessons, and victory. Exodus 5:11 reads, Go and get it yourselves. Find it wherever you can. But you must produce just as many bricks as before! These three words: go, find, and, produce construct the formula we use to catapult our vision and propel our students in their education and in life.

At Journey 511 we understand that education is indeed a life long journey. Our mission is to give every student a strong start. We will ensure that each day is an unforgettable experience as we prepare a setting in which your child is free to explore and exercise creativity. We desire to be an extension of home, providing an intimate and nurturing environment where every child feels safe, loved and affirmed in their significance.
