Jo-anna`s Home Of Learning

My center is my home. I believe the best learning environment is the home under quality supervision. I am a Child Development Associate with certificate in Food Handler. I have CPR/AED and First Aid certification.I am member OF NAFCC, and in this moment I am looking for the Family Child Care.I am finishing my Bachelor Degree in Infant/Toddler Dual Concentration at Walden University. My learning center is my home where is used the creative curriculum for Infants/Toddlers and for preschool. My health is critical in child development, in order to support it I have outdoors activities every day. These activities include visits to different parks in the city to work and develop gross and fine motor. We visit other places like museums, libraries, amusement centers, stores, farms and some community helpers. This visits are with the purpose of support the social-emotional development of the children. The children learn how interact with others through the example. Every adult is a role model. The first two week of the child in the center is for observation.Once the two week finish the parents will receive the child assessment. The assessment used in my home is the E-LAP for infants and toddlers and LAP-3 for preschoolers.The assessments bring an idea of the child development stage and the skills to be worked in order to support the learning development. I provide photos of every activity. In addition, the learning materials, these material are according the child learning needs and developmentally appropriate to the child age.
