I am a stay at home mother of 2 girls. My oldest is 12 and my youngest will turn 3 at the end of May. I started watching children other than my own to give my youngest someone to play with. Currently, I am hoping to find a family that needs care for a child full time between 7 a.m. and 4 or 4:30 p.m., based on our families schedule. However, please still feel free to contact me even if you have different needs as I am always open to considering other schedules. Just please provide what you are looking for schedule wise when you contact me.
I don't consider myself to be like most child care providers I have used in the past for my oldest daughter, because I won't take on everyone. If I don't think we are a good fit for each other, I will tell you as soon as possible and encourage you to do the same. I like to start out on a trial period so we can both decide if it is a good fit with no hard feelings if it's not.
I provide mom care, as I am not a preschool teacher. We will play and have fun, have meals and snacks, and learn along the way in a relaxed manner. I also ask parents to provide breakfast and lunch for their child, and I will provide the snacks. I do not currently have my CPR certification renewed, but have been through the program and the renewal in the past 10 years. I do plan on renewing my certification, but do not have it currently. I grew up babysitting, but as an adult have only been providing child care since March 2011.
My rates are $200 a week for one child full-time, as I charge $40 a day. If you have more than one child we can discuss what the rate for the additional child would be. Just make sure to provide me details when you contact me so I can respond more accurately. I like to keep my numbers low to provide your child more one on one attention.
