I started out providing in home child care at my location back in 2008 so as to be able to stay at home with my youngest child yet remain a dedicate provider for my family. I made this change after a 15 career as a critical care paramedic and 3 subsequent years as an RN, neddless to say I am more than well versed in advanced life support if your child ever requires such (God help us that is never the case) yet the reality is that this happens to folks daily and I am honored to have the knowledge to respond with the utmost knowledge, experience, and training to handle any situation that may arise! In addition I have 2 children total a 17 year old son, Zach, who is beginning his Marine training in just a few weeks and recently moved out on his own. I also have a 5 year son, Alex, who is intelligent, charismatic, and loves to have other children around his age in our home because he just loves to socialize with just about anyone most of kids! we concentrate on following a ridgid schedule on a daily basis since all children thrive on the repetative routine. I am dedicated to constantly helping these rapidly developing brains(sponges really) because if we don't I feel we have failed the children who are capable and desire to obtain any knew knowledge the adults in their offer to them. That being said in addtion to our scheduled learning, reading, and mind expanding time allotted everyday, I make every attempt to make every activity we engage in a learning experience for them. Play time is supervised closely by myself and my assitant. Potty training is an added bonus we work closely with the on if that is the stage of your childs life because as a parent I realize whatever is being taught at home MUST be upheld while the parents are away or it makes life harder for our littles guys and girls, and my goal is to help you provide the most similar environment in every aspect that our kiddos get at home in addtion I strive to uphold the teachings each individual child receives at home and I sincerely believe that schedule and consistancy between home and daycare must be replicated EVERY way to ease our kids transitions in life, and as we all know they are many and never stop. So in summary we care deeply about our children here and are always open to requests that parents have due to the beliefs and childrearing methods. We also have a very flexible time schedule as to arrival time and departure time since everybody starts work and ends, are lienent if late on pickup
