Educated and experienced Mom-to-be looking to watch infant in my home!

Hello, I am due with my first child this coming November, and am ideally looking to stay home with the baby. My hope is to be able to watch one or two other similarly aged infants full time in my home to help supplement income, as well as provide socialization for my own child. My vision, if someone were to peak through my windows, would look as if I had twins or triplets; that I would love your child as if he or she were my own, that I could go on outings with the babies to the park or the zoo or the library, take walks in my town and play in my back yard. The babies would all feel part of the family! With a lesser number of children in my care, I would be able to give everyone plenty of one on one time and attention. I would be able to have a more lax sick policy, allowing moderately ill children to attend and be cared for appropriately.

To share a little bit about me, I am happily married and we own a home in Scottsville, NY (10 minutes south of RIT/Henrietta). Our house is on a quiet road on the edge of the village, with room to run in the back yard. I have a bachelor s degree in psychology from Nazareth College, 2008, where I completed many childhood development classes, infancy through adolescence. I continued on to complete my Masters in Counseling from the University of Buffalo, finishing in 2011 with an EdM (education) degree. Since, I have been a nanny for a few different families caring for newborns, toddlers and early elementary age children. Most currently, and for the last 3 years, I have been a lead teacher at a daycare caring for ages 10 months-18 months. I have been CPR and first aid certified many times, as well as epi-pen and allergy trained. I believe in teaching though experience (play!) and promoting independence in my kiddos at work, and would continue to do the same for my kids at home.
