In-Home Daycare

I have been caring for people most of my adult life! I have spent years working in MODs and as a nanny (one family had 12 children!). I also spent a few years at in-home senior care & at a nursing facility. I am currently a Sunday School coordinator at my church, and work as a stay-at-home mom to my 3yr & 1yr old sons. I am CPR certified and am more than happy to submit to a background check.
I am looking for a child/children (same family) to care for in my home in Garland. We are in a great neighborhood, have a large swingset in the back, and my in-laws live next door in case of an emergency. Not to mention built in playmates with my kids!
I love children and love shaping and teaching them. I am beginning a homeschooling preschool curriculum (Sonlight) with my oldest in the Fall. It is LOTS of storytime, songs, nursery rhymes, and fun activites to just get the learning process "officially" started. Obviously, any child/children I am caring for will be right in there with us, in the midst of the stories, and doing age appropriate activities. I have home schooled older children before, and I would be happy to school yours as well (in a more formal way than the preschoolers).
And last, but not least I would like to say, this is a Christian home. Not that I require you to be, but we are. So we are often learning about, speaking about, and praying to the Lord. The most important teaching I do with with my kids is in Bible stories, Bible verse memorization, praise & worshop songs, and in praying together. So that is a very prominent and important part of this home.
