I run a small daycare out of my home in the Racine/ Mt. Pleasant area. I have been watching children for the past 14 years and absolutely love doing this. I provide a very loving and nurturing environment for children of all ages. I am a mom of 2 girls who are both in school full time but love helping out with the kids whenever they are home. I provide nutritious breakfast, lunches, and snacks. I have a huge fenced in yard so we get lots of outdoor time(weather permitting). I believe children learn best through play so that's what we do. Whether it be dancing, singing, reading books, painting, we do it all. I know it is never easy leaving your children with anyone other than yourselves but I try to connect with the parents as much as with the children so that everyone feels comfortable. I journal what goes on everyday to help keep the parents informed on what their children are doing and parents are welcome to call anytime during the day to check up on their kids.
